had to buy this after my 11 yo DeWalt drill finally reached its end of life, i suppose i could have got it repaired and did buy a new chuck, but in the end at the price for this model, and already having other tools with latest Li-ion batteries, the price of this just made it a no-brainer.
looks like a proper heavyweight pro drill, feels like it too.... smooth and quiet but you can feel the power in your hand when you oull the trigger and fitted with a 5.0ah battery I'm guessing this is going to be a long term relationship.
